Frequently Asked Questions

What are Neurotoxins?

Neurotoxins are muscle relaxers. Botox, Xeomin and Dysport all work by relaxing the muscles that make expressions on the face. When the muscles relax, the lines smooth out.

How long do Fillers and Botox last?

This depends on many factors. Typically fillers last anywhere from 6 - 18months depending on the type and area used. Botox, Xeomin and Dysport usually last an average of 3 months for most people. Daxxify sometimes lasts longer in many individuals.

Dose = Duration, so the more you do, the longer it tends to last. Clients with active lifestyles tend to metabolize both products a little bit faster on average than the general population.

What are Dermal Fillers?

Fillers are substances that add volume to areas of the face, and help to soften lines. They are typically made with biodegradable materials such as hyaluronic acid, calcium, and Poly-L lactic acid.

What is PDGF?

Platelet-Derived Growth Factor (PDGF) is a protein growth factor that acts like a “messenger molecule” in the body. It’s stored in platelets (the blood cells that help clot and heal wounds) and is released when there’s tissue injury.

It helps rebuild structural proteins in skin, bone, and connective tissue. It can be used for hair regrowth, skin rejuvenation, tissue and scar repair and more.
